Robinson, William, Jr.,

88, died July 17, 2014 at Baptist East Hospital.

He was a retired Nationwide Insurance agent, a member of First United Baptist Church (Longfield), a 50 year member of Fortitude Lodge #47 and past patron of Rob Morris Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and after the war, served his country again in the Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Robinson; two brothers; two sisters; his son, Billy and his grandson, Stephen Durbin.

Bill is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Elnore; his daughter, Glenda Riggs; great grandson, Brent Durbin; and sister, Geneva Nichols of Frankfort, KY.

His service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Baptist Church, 5507 Cartledge Ct., with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday 1-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road.
