Gaus, Kenneth L.,

passed away Monday, September 5, 2016

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Born in Louisville, KY July 29,1935, to Marie (Martin) and John Gaus Jr.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Verna M. (Gahafer) Gaus, his parents, Marie and John W. Gaus Jr., brother, John W. Gaus III.

Survivors: his 7 children; Paula Curl (Neil), Paul "Sam" (Melinda) Gaus, Patrick (Donna) Gaus, Toni Gaus, Kenny Joe (Joni), Terri Gaus and Mark Gaus; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; brothers, Michael Gaus and Richard Gaus; sisters, Betty Jean Gregory, Beverly Gibson, Joy Wright, Sharon Blakeman, Lisa Mercer.

Visitation: 2-8 p.m., Thursday, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway . Funeral mass on Friday 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
