Barbara A. (Kelly) Fedele Obituary
Barbara A. (Kelly) Fedele
Formerly of Chelmsford and Lowell;

Loving mother and grandmother

WINDHAM, NH -- Barbara A. (Kelly) Fedele, of Windham, NH, formerly of Chelmsford and Lowell, died February 19, 2014, in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her loving family, aged 78 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Sylvestro L. Fedele.

Born in Lowell, September 13, 1935, a daughter of the late William J. and Beatrice (Gravel) Kelly. She received her early education at the Notre Dame de Lourdes School, and graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1953. She then furthered her education at Western New England College.

After college, Mrs. Fedele became associated with Hanscom Air Force Base, where she spent her career as a Civilian Contract Negotiator for 32 years.

For many years, she was an active member and past President of the Women's VFW Auxiliary in Pepperell.

Barbara enjoyed touring lighthouses along the coast of New England. While she loved a good laugh herself, she was best known for making others laugh with her great sense of humor and quick wit. By far, her greatest pleasure in life was to spend time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa M. Fedele of Hudson, FL; and six sons, John A. Fedele of Pittsburgh, PA; Michael J. Fedele and his wife, Barbara Egan of Windsor Locks, CT; Paul S. Fedele of Lowell, MA; Edward J. Fedele and his wife, Debora of Londonderry, NH; Thomas K. Fedele and his wife, Kristen of Leominster, MA; and Daniel L. Fedele of Northfield, NH, as well as 16 cherished grandchildren and three beloved great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Kelley and her husband, James of Bedford, NH; and Patricia Gilchrist and her husband, George of Pepperell, MA; and two brothers, William Kelly of Lowell, MA; and Ralph Kelly and his wife, Marie of New Ipswich, NH, and a sister-in-law, Anne Kelly of Groton, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was the sister of the late George Kelly and Richard Kelly, and sister-in-law to the late Joanne Kelly (wife of William).
