Dr. Robert B. Winkowski, age 72, of Dunstable, died Friday, December 21. Beloved husband of Ann Marie (Sehlstedt) Winkowski. Visiting hours Wednesday, December 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Thursday, December 27 at 8:00 am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford. Dr. Winkowski was my history teacher in 10th and 12th grades. He was one of my favorite teachers and he was the reason I became a history teacher, as well. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dr. Winkowski was one of my all time favorite teachers and is a daily inspiration to me now as I teach history. I feel so grateful to have known him and been the receipient of his wisdom.

He was my Master teacher and than I had the honor to join his department as a social studies teacher. He was more than just chair person of our department,he was my friend and academic role model. When I was stricken with cancer,Dr.Winkowski gave me moral support and advice helping me during my illness. I will miss you Bob God Bless you and your family,rest in peace my friend.

Dr. Winkowski was a wonderful teacher. He was my daughter's all time favorite teacher. She still is a history buff .
