The Students and Faculty of
Sandy Hook Elementary School
All across America, this tragedy has left us wondering how in an instant, children and staff could be stripped of the basic right to attend school and be safe from harm. It is a vulnerability and an injustice that no one should have to endure.
The reality is that there are 26 families in our neighboring state that are in fact enduring this surreal event.
FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, MA will be open to all from 8A.M. until 7P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. During this time you are welcome to sign a Book of Remembrance, which will be delivered to the Sandy Hook Community, say a prayer, or quietly reflect. It is our intention to honor the lives of the children and staff of the Sandy Hook Elementary School with a prayer service at 7 P.M. All ages are welcome. Join with us as we continue to pray for and remember those who died, the families affected, and their community.
Donations in memory of those who were lost may be made to The Sandy Hook School Support Fund, c/o Newtown Savings Bank, 39 Main Street, Newtown, CT 06470 or online at https://newtown.uwwesternct.org.
