William Howard Taylor formerly of Chelmsford; 63 -- SANDOWN, NH -- William Howard Taylor, 63, of Sandown, NH and formerly of Chelmsford passed away on July 1, 2013 at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford after a courageous battle with ALS. He was born in Lowell on April 21, 1950 a son of Howard Taylor and the late Marcelle (Morency) Taylor. William was a graduate of Chelmsford High School and the Berklee College of Music. He was a great guitar player and was a member of the Four Diamonds musical group. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Navy as a radioman. In addition to his father, William is survived by two brothers, Jeffrey Taylor of Maine and Douglas Taylor of Pelham, NH; one sister, Deborah Toomey of Methuen; his stepmother, Estelle Taylor of Sandown, NH and three stepsisters, Judy Lecarbeau of Beverly, Nancy Charest of Methuen and Jane Borzi of Carver. TAYLOR -- At the Taylor Family's request, funeral services for William will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the E.N. Rogers VA Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD.
