William 'Bill' Rollo
of Dracut, WWll Vet; 86
DRACUT -- William "Bill" Rollo, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 18th, at D'Youville Manor Senior Care Center in Lowell. He was the husband of Phyllis (Riley) Rollo with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
William was born in Lowell, MA on February 14, 1928, a son of the late Alice (Dawson) and William W. Rollo. He was educated in Lowell and a graduate of Lowell Trade High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a Fireman First Class during WWII, until being honorably discharged.
For over 40 years, Bill worked as an Electrician and was a proud member of Local #103 IBEW.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, but more importantly his family will miss a hardworking and loving man in their lives.
Along with his wife, Bill is survived and will be deeply missed by his children, William Rollo Jr., and his wife, Michelle of Jacksonville, FL, Geralynne Beaudry and her husband, Arthur of Manchester, NH, and Steven Rollo of Dracut; his three sisters, Shirley Peterson and her husband, Robert of Lowell, Dorothy Vigeant of Dracut, and Carol Martin, also of Dracut; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister, Mildred Clogston and his daughters-in-law, Elaine Rollo and Cheryl Rollo.
