Bennie Lee Bartley HOUSTON-Bennie Lee Bartley, 72, of Houston passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013. He was born Aug. 31, 1941, to Marvin L. and Johnnie Evelyn Bartley of Plainview. Then they moved to Lubbock, where he lived and attended school. He went to Lubbock High School. He entered the Navy in 1957, and finished in 1959. He was a painter and an electrician's apprentice, but his lifelong vocation was truck driving. He worked for Farm PAG for many years, right up until he moved away from the Lubbock area. He finished his truck driving career with Quality Trucking Inc. of Houston, Texas. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Pauline Brock of Pasco, Wash.; two nieces and two nephews, and their families; five children, Clay Bartley of Lubbock, and daughters, Amanda Bartley Stewart of Houston, Nikki Bartley Bailey of Houston, Nicole Bartley of North Richland of Hills, Texas, and Kristi Ann Bartley Fallin of Lubbock, Texas; four grandchildren, Heather and Nathan Bartley of Lubbock, Bethany Bartley of Houston and Mikey Wodahl of Houston; and one great-grandson, Dillion of Houston. Bennie will be laid to rest in Sterling-White Cemetery in Crosby, Texas, suburb of Houston, Texas., on January 30, 2013 at 1 p.m.
