Bill Stallings LUBBOCK- William Thomas Stallings, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, Texas passed away December 26, 2012 at the age of 74. He was born to Woodrow Wilson Stallings and Uda Beauchamp Stallings on October 17, 1938. He served as a Lubbock Police Officer for 29 years (from August 1969 until his retirement in January 1996). Funeral services will be held Saturday December 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. His family will receive friends Friday December 28, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Resthaven. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Brady Wheatley, age 6, in 2000; and one sister, Shirley Nobles in 2012. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 53 years, Thelma Stallings and his four children, Tammy Quon and husband Stan of Federal Way, Wash., Donna Stone and husband Rocky of San Angelo, Texas, Jimmy Stallings and wife Brandi of Lubbock, Texas, and Tommy Stallings and wife Trista of Friona, Texas. He was also Paw-Paw to eight living grandchildren, Dondee and Amanda, Haley, Sawyer and Avery, and Taylor, Graci and Cason; one sister, Bobbie McLean; and one brother, Glenn Stallings, both of Lubbock.
