Craig David Harms LUBBOCK-Craig David Harms of San Diego, Calif., died Oct. 25, 2013. He was born July 25, 1947, in Cushing, Okla., to E. Dale and Lois Harms. He graduated from Lubbock Christian High School in 1965, and attended Lubbock Christian College, Texas Tech University, and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Economics. Craig joined the Navy in 1967 and served in Okinawa, Japan, and Vietnam. He married Katherine Boydston in 1974 and started his printing career at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. He retired from Moore Data Corp. in San Diego, Calif. Craig was preceded in death by his father, E. Dale Harms. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Harms of San Diego, Calif.; mother, Lois Harms May of Lubbock, Texas; brothers, Kirk Harms of Austin, Texas, and Lynn Harms of Lubbock, Texas; and sister, Resa Newton of Jefferson City, Mo. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 2, at Greenlawn Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Children's Home of Lubbock.
