Reverend Dale Cain LUBBOCK- Reverend Dale Cain passed from this life on Monday, December 24, 2012. Family and friends will gather for fellowship from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, 6025 82nd Street. We will celebrate his life at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 29 at Calvary Baptist Church. A tribute of Mr. Cain may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family. Dale was born in Canadian, Texas to the late J.C. and Jennie Lee Cain. He graduated from Canadian High School and West Texas A&M University before attending Southwestern Seminary. His pastoral ministry includes: eight churches, including Calvary Baptist in Lubbock, where he served eighteen years. In retirement years he served as interim of thirteen churches. His ministry also included eight years on the board of directors of the Foreign Mission Board. He served in numerous revivals in Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Canada. He taught at Trinity Bible Institute in Lubbock and authored two books, The Relationship of Angels to Mankind and The Stories Behind the Psalms. His survivors include his wife, Lynn of Lubbock; sister, Madelyn Hartness of Canadian; brother, Clyde Cain and wife Kay of Edmond, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Darren Densford and wife Lori of Lubbock; granddaughter, Alexandra Densford; grandson, Mitchell Densford; step-grandson, Brayson Dorman; and great-granddaughter, Laityn Faith Densford, all of Lubbock. Preceding him in death were his parents and his daughter, Tracie Lynn Densford.
