Glenn David Dillard DENVER CITY-Funeral services for Glenn David Dave Dillard, 93, of Seagraves, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in The Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnie Rollie officiating. Interment will follow in The Denver City Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. He passed from this life on May 24, 2014, at his home. Glenn was born on Nov. 28, 1920, to John and Georgia Greenwood Dillard in Chilhowie, Smyth County, Va. He served six years in the Army during WWII. He married Ann Avila on Oct. 25, 1996, in El Paso, Texas. He owned and operated Denver City Motor Parts. He retired but later built United Machine and Tool Co, which he owned and operated until 2008. He was a businessman and entrepreneur. He enjoyed reading, traveling, movies, and keeping up with current events. Glenn is survived by his wife, Ann of seventeen years; his sister, Ruth Black and a niece, Lisa Black of Marion, Va.; stepsons, Scott Cavazos and wife, Veronica and family of Denver City, and Steve Cavazos and wife, Susie and family of Lubbock; along with eight sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, and # 10. Memorial donations may be made to Home Hospice of Andrews.
