Jimmy Darrell Duncan LUBBOCK-Jimmy Darrell Duncan passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A tribute of Jimmy's life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family. Jimmy Darrell was born on Sept. 12, 1946, to R. J. and Lidia Oates Duncan in Knox City, Texas. He graduated from Munday High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jimmy was employed as telecom administrator with Covenant Medical Center for the past 14 years. Survivors include his daughter, Paula Jo Payne and her fianc David Owen; granddaughter, Taylor Renee Payne; two sisters, Shirley Welch and husband Don, and Becky Offutt and husband Dan; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, R. J. Duncan; mother, Lidia Duncan; and girlfriend, Janet Minor.
