O. H. Majors Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of O.H. Majors at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Mr. Majors died on Jan. 10, 2014. O. H. was born on May 22, 1930 to the late Wade and Janie (Hays) Majors in Paducah. He joined the US Air Force and served in the military police at Reese AFB and in Alabama. O.H. met and married Jane Lindau in Lubbock. O.H. was an enthusiast of Western Swing music, especially Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. He enjoyed bird hunting and liked to barbeque in the backyard for family and friends. He especially enjoyed camping when his children were younger. O.H. was active with the Republican Party. Survivors include his wife, Jane of Lubbock; two sons, Chuck Majors (Wendy) of Carrollton and Jeffery Wade Majors (Carrie) of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Kandice Majors of Addison; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Majors, Meagan Majors, Jacob Majors, Blaine Majors and Dylan Alaniz; and a sister, Betty Buckingham of Pampa.
