Ruby Dusty Houston MacFarlane LUBBOCK- Ruby Dusty Houston MacFarlane, 81, of Kingsland, Texas died on Jan. 12, 2014. She was born to Everett and Dove (Parker) Jarnagin on April 25, 1932 in Bellville, Arkansas. Dusty was a Cosmetology instructor for Isabell Powell's and a retired South Western Bell Telephone employee. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. auxiliary. In her spare time she enjoyed golf, Bingo, quilting and dancing. Dusty was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints. She is survived by children, Diane McCorquodale (Jim) of Kingsland, Texas, Donna Johnson (Ronnie) of Tow, Texas, and Neana Montgomery (Monty) of St. Louis, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; brothers, M.D. Jarnagin, Hugh Everett Jarnagin and Tommy Lee Jarnagin, sister, Mozell Means all of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Wilson Houston and John MacFarlane; sons, Audie and Randy Houston; brother, Edward Johnson. Visitations will be held at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, Texas Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitations will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
