Sidney Elizabeth (Pace) Hall LUBBOCK-Becky Hall, 87, of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014, at Covenant Hospital. Visitation will be held today June 1, 2014, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service is set for Monday, June 2, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield, Texas. She was born Aug. 23, 1926, in Wingate, Texas, to Sidney G. and Ivy Pearl Pace. She married Thomas Winston Hall in Littlefield on May 31, 1957. To this union were born Shawn Winston Hall and Thomas David Hall. Becky graduated from Littlefield High School and Texas Tech University. She received her B.S. degree in Home Economics Education from TTU and a M.S from Texas A&M. She did post-graduate work for professional improvement at Colorado State University, West Texas State University, and took mini-courses from Texas A&M University. She taught Home Economics at Littlefield High School for three years, served as County Home Demonstration Agent in Howard County for four years and Briscoe County for 18 months. She served ten years as County Extension Agent for Randall County. She received The Distinguished Service Award for Leadership and outstanding service in food and fiber abundance Appreciation exhibit of Randall County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston (April 1988); her parents; and five siblings. She is survived by her two sons, Shawn and David; five siblings, Lehman Jones of Littlefield, Ron Race of Littlefield, Sherry and husband Bill Johnson of Houston, Judith and her husband Dale of Levelland; numerous nieces, nephews, and enumerable friends.
