Tommy Gene Jones KELLER- Tommy Gene Jones, 69, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 after suffering with Alzheimer's for years. Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, with Rev. Charlie Jones and Rev. Frank Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home, 523 South Main Street, Grapevine. Tommy was born in Tahoka on June 7, 1944 to H.P. and Loretta Coppage Jones. He and Judy started dating in the 8th grade, and recently celebrated their 48th anniversary. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a Godly man who preached the Word and pastored a church in his younger years. He took great pride in building custom homes in the construction business. He was a gentle, patient father who loved his family and the vacations they took together. He was profoundly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.P. and Loretta Jones; and his sister, Barbara Ann Cook. Survivors include his wife, Judy Terry Jones; daughter, LaShawn Jones Truelock and husband Danny; son, Lance David Jones; granddaughters, Abigail Dellinger, Hope Jones, and Grace Jones; and grandson, Walton Truelock.
