Trinidad Quintero LUBBOCK-Trinidad Bubba Quintero, 69, of Lubbock, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 20, 2013. Friends and family are invited to pray the rosary on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at 7 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 21, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Cornelio Ramirez officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery. Trinidad was born on Jan. 29, 1944, in Sinton, Texas, to Trinidad and Consuelo (Perez). He married Josefina Gallegos on Dec. 22, 1965, in Mexico. As a young man, Trinidad was skilled in many trades including being a barber. He also worked for LP&L as well as General Motors as a vehicle assembler. He enjoyed gardening, western movies, was a Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan, and was an avid pet lover. Mr. Quintero is survived by; his wife, Josefina, of 48 years; five children, Martin Quintero (Michelle), Trinidad Quintero III, Eloisa Quintero, Elizabeth Quintero, Frances Quintero (Arron Martinez); nine grandchildren, Steven Garcia, Zachary Salinas, Crystal Castaneda, Catherine Castaneda, Isaac Quintero, Josiah Quintero, Izabella Martinez, Jayce Martinez, and Aiden Martinez; and one great-grandchild, Avery Reed; his sister, Alicia Flores (Vicente), as well as other siblings from Minnesota.
