Dr. W. T. Snodgrass LUBBOCK- Graveside services for Dr. W. T. Snodgrass, 84, of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m. Monday February 18, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Joe Barnett officiating. W. T.'s family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Sanders Funeral Home. W. T. passed away on February 15, 2013 at his home. W. T. was born on January 20, 1929 in Kirkland, Texas to Earl and Thelma Snodgrass. W. T. grew up in San Angelo and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. W. T. married Peggy Jaronitzky on November 25, 1952 in Texas City. W. T. did his residency in Urology at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and served nine years in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Kessler Air Force Base Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi for the last five years. W. T. taught one year at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis before moving to Lubbock with his family in 1966. W. T. retired from his practice of Medicine in 1999. W. T.'s loved ones include his wife, Peggy, of 59 years; his son, Warren Snodgrass and wife, Virginia; his daughter, Tricia Mikel and husband, Larry; his granddaughter, Laura Stennett and husband, Rusty; two grandsons, William and Phillip Snodgrass; and a great granddaughter, Mabry Stennett. Memorials may be made in W. T's honor to Hospice of Lubbock, 3702 21st St., Lubbock, TX 79410.
