FORT WORTH - Stafford M. ""Sonny"" Page, 82, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, surrounded by his family.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood.

Sonny was born Jan. 13, 1932, to James Stafford and Madeline Page. He attended the University of Texas where he met his wife of 59 years, Libby Lou, in Russian Class. He later graduated from TCU. Libby said he always laughed, told jokes, and was the master of one-liners up to his last breath.
Sonny developed many long-lasting friendships during his life and in the business community. He began his career at Page Tire Company. He decided to go into real estate and opened SM Page Co. Realtors, which developed into S.M. Page Commercial Real Estate. He was an active member of the Action Ambassadors. Sonny volunteered at DFW Airport greeting returning soldiers and guests with a smiling face. Sonny also loved his volunteer work for Meals on Wheels, with his good friend, Pat. He had a passion for target shooting and flying airplanes.
If Sonny could be described with by one word by his grandchildren they would be: Exuberant, Dynamic, Story Teller, Exceptional, Loving, and Witty. Each of these words truly describe Sonny and all who knew him and loved him.
