Carl H. Leh, Jr.
Carl H. Leh, Jr., 88, of Bethlehem, passed away at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. He was the loving husband of almost 53 years to Carolyn M. (Williams) Leh. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Carl and Helen (Goddhart) Leh. Carl served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 40 years of service. Carl was a lifetime member of Rosemont Lutheran Church, in which he and Carolyn were also married. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan. Survivors: Wife, Carolyn M. Leh; sons, Douglas Leh of Center Valley, Glenn C. Leh II of Hereford, Glenn C. Leh and wife Tammy of Bethlehem and the late Carl H. Leh III and his wife Tracy of Bethlehem; daughter, Stephanie Kalavoda and husband James of Whitehall; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Forrest Leh of Allentown. He was also predeceased by his sister, Virginia Binder. Services: A viewing will be held on Sunday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, 9 to 10 a.m. with a service to follow at 10 a.m. in Downing Funeral Home, Inc., 1002 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carls memory to Rosemont Lutheran Church, 1705 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
