DiRomualdo, Chester A.Chester A. DiRomualdo, 80, of Macungie, died on July 30, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Mildred (Samus) DiRomualdo for the past 54 years. Born in Frackville, PA, he was the son of the late Luigi and Esperanza (DiBonifazio) DiRomualdo. Chester was a Pharmaceutical Salesman for Wyeth Laboratories in Paoli, PA for many years until retiring. He was a Class of '59 graduate of Penn State University. Chester was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a Penn State enthusiast who loved tailgate parties and watching the football games at Beaver Stadium and was an avid golfer. Chester was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. Survivors: Wife; Children, Lori A. Marshall and husband William of Harleysville, PA, Mark L. DiRomualdo of Allentown; Grandchildren, Gregory and Sarah Marshall; Nieces and Nephews close to his heart, John McCarthy, Mary Meder and Patricia Nawa and their children, Matthew, Elizabeth, Amy, Kyle, Chrissy, Madeline, Charlie, and Audrey. Chester was predeceased by a son, Matthew in 1974. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:30am, in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown, PA. A visitation will be held on Friday from 7 to 9pm at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown, PA. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville, PA. Contributions: Donations may be made to Special Olympics, 2570 Blvd. of the Generals, Suite 124, Norristown, PA 19403.
