Aungst, Clinton D.Clinton D. "Clint" Aungst, 85 of Bethlehem died on June 7, 2014 at his daughter Brenda's home in Emmaus. He was the husband of the late Mildred E. Aungst, who died in 1998. Clint was born in Fountain Hill, son of the late Clinton M. and Hazel (Van Billiard) Aungst. He served in the US Navy from 1947 to 1950 on the USS Norton Sound. He was an electrician and the owner of Clinton D. Aungst Electric for over 35 years. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. He served as a Council member, usher and money counter. Clint was a member of the MORA Club of Bethlehem, Association of Builders and Contractors, a member of the American Legion and an active Parent for the United Cerebral Palsy. Over the years he enjoyed photography and bowling. Survivors: Daughter Brenda C. Schoenberger, wife of Russell of Emmaus, brother John Aungst of Bethlehem; four grandchildren Rebecca, Debra, Matthew and Michelle. Predeceased by two daughters Patricia S. Flaska and Debra L. Aungst, a brother Donald and sister Faith. Services: Funeral Service on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11 AM in Messiah Lutheran Church, 2020 Worthington Avenue, Bethlehem, viewing 9:30 AM to 11 AM in the Church. Military Service will follow immediately after the Church Service. Internment will be at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funeral Home in Bethlehem. Contributions: To an Animal Shelter of your choice, Messiah Lutheran Church or Special Olympics.
