Constantino E. Muniz
Constantino E. Muniz, 81, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died Tuesday afternoon, Feb 5, 2013, at St. Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Hadinger) Muniz who passed last March. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Constantino and Emily (Lucero) Muniz. Constantino was a History and Sociology Teacher at the J.P. Stephens High School, Edison, NJ, for 30 yrs, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. Constantino was a graduate of the Palmerton High School, served in the US Navy as a Qm 2c, Korea Era, and a graduate of Kutztown State Teachers College. Survivors: Daughters, Michele M, wife of David Dafgek of Simsbury, CT, Connie L. wife of Scott Maynard of Monroe Twp, NJ; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Dylan, Samuel, Molly, Anna, and Jenna; sisters, Dolly Rabenold of Palmerton, Rosalie wife of Daniel Breslin of Shamokin, PA; brother, Manuel and wife Pat of Palmerton, Raymond and wife Terry of Orefield, PA. He was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence, and Richard. Services: Memorial Mass, 1 p.m., Saturday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
