Daniel Reichenbach, Sr.
Daniel D. Reichenbach, Sr. 79, of Salisbury Township, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Denelsbeck) Reichenbach. They would have celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary this May. Daniel was born in Allentown a son of the late Arthur D. and Grace M. (Joyce) Reichenbach. He was the President of W.S. Reichenbach and Sons before retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic church, Allentown. Daniel was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the Past President of the Lehigh Valley Oil Dealers Association and was responsible for the establishment of the oil burner school in the Lehigh Valley. Daniel served on the Advisory Board of the Lehigh County Vo-tech. He was a Past board member of the Joint Council of the YM/YWCA. Daniel was a Past President of the Allentown North East Kiwanis Club. Daniel loved boating and spending time with his family. Survivors: Wife; sons, William S. husband of Kathy Reichenbach of Nesquehoning, PA and Daniel D. husband of Michelle Reichenbach of Allentown; grandchildren, Amanda, Will, J.D., Daniel III, Brendan and Jack. He was predeceased by his brother William Reichenbach. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Avenue Allentown. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home Inc. Please share online condolences at www.stephensfuneral.com.
