Frank Marth, Jr.
Frank J. Moe Marth Jr., 75, of Northampton passed away Friday December 20, 2013 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 5, 1938 in Northampton and he was the son of the late Frank and Anna T. (Miletics) Marth. Frank worked at Agere Systems for 43 years until his retirement in March of 2002. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton. Frank was a baseball umpire for the Lehigh Valley League for 37 years. On a daily basis you could fine Moe at the Northampton Recreation Center where he was a member for many years. Survivors: Sons, Kevin Marth and his wife Patricia, of Whitehall, Christopher Marth and his fiancee Rebecca, of Northampton, former wife, Gloria (Felchock) Marth, of Northampton, three grandchildren, Colin, Caylin and Olivia. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 30th at 10 a.m. in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 22nd & Washington Ave. Northampton. Family and friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home 326 E. 21st St. Northampton. Burial with military honors will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted to www.reichelfuneralhome.com.
