James Marvin Refsnider
James Marvin Refsnider, 90, of Quakertown, died Saturday, November 16 at Lifequest Nursing Center, Milford Twp. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Snyder) Refsnider. Born in Richlandtown, he was the son of the late Norman and Mary (Texter) Refsnider. He served in the Navy during WWII and participated in the Normandy invasion. He was a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church, Richlandtown, where he served on the church council and property committee. For many years he worked as a carpenter and was a former chief of the Richlandtown Fire Company. He was member of the Richlandtown, Milford Twp., and Quakertown Lion Clubs. Survivors: Sons, James, wife Nancy, Dennis, wife Ruth, Edward, wife Linda; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by brothers, R. Leon and N. Webster; and step brother, Wilbur. Services: 11 a.m., Thursday, November 21, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 4 S. Main St., Richlandtown. Call 6 to 8, Wednesday, November 20, at Jeffrey A.
