Smith, Jeffrey C.Jeffrey C. Smith, 61, of Allentown, formerly of Bath, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, at his residence. Born in Northampton on April 02, 1953, he was a son of Dolores D. (Moser) Smith of Haysville, Kansas and the late Carl T. Smith. Jeff was a graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1971, and honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He later attended Northampton Community College where he earned an Associate degree in Applied Science in Funeral Service Education. Jeff successfully served his internship at the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Moorestown - Bath, and later was employed as a licensed funeral director at Schisler Funeral Home in Northampton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a member of St. Johns' Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors: In addition to his loving mother, Dolores, he is survived by his brother, Jason T. Smith and his wife, Roberta of Haysville, Kansas; three (3) nephews, Weylin Smith and his wife, Amy of Udall, Kansas, Lester Smith, and Bryce McDowell and his wife, Angela both of Haysville, Kansas; two (2) great-nieces and a great-nephew; a daughter, Amanda Lenegan of Northampton; a grandson, Eli; his companion, Amy Lenegan of Forks Township; uncles, Robert Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Howard Moser and his wife, Faith of Philadelphia, Robert Moser of Bath, Doug Moser of Northampton, and Curtis Moser of Wyoming; aunt, Betty Reph of Northampton; and cousins. He was preceded in death by two (2) aunts, Mary Ann Frisch and Grace Paulas, as well as two (2) uncles, Roy Smith and George Moser. Services: A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, July 07, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. in the St. Peter's Snyder Church Cemetery, Seemsville. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath.
