Brady, Jr., Joseph J.Joseph J. Brady, Jr., 88. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Joseph J. Brady, Sr. and Marie (Metzler) Brady. He was married to the late Catherine (Hart) Brady for 58 years until her passing on April 3, 2006. He was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and Bethlehem Business College. Joseph worked at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in the Accounting Department, Billing Division for 33 years. After retiring in 1982 he worked part time at Bethlehem Golf Club for 21 years. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII aboard the USS Trinity in the Pacific Theatre. Joseph was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the North End Wanderers and the Knights of Columbus where he attained the rank of a Fourth Degree Knight. Survivors: He is survived by his sons, Timothy Brady of Fogelsville, PA and Thomas Brady of Methuen, Mass., daughter, Kathleen Haugh and husband Gregory of West Roxbury, Mass., five grandchildren, Francis of West Roxbury, Mass., Gregory of San Diego, CA, and Caitlin Haugh of Dorchester, Mass. and Sean and Marisa Brady of Methuen, Mass., great grandson, Henry of San Diego, CA and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, James P. Brady and Michael J. Brady and a sister, Magaret McCoach. Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018 at 11 AM.
