Sorrentino, Loretta A.Loretta A. Sorrentino, 86, of Allentown passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp. Loretta was the wife of the late Angelo N. Sorrentino, Jr. Born in Morristown, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Edward R. and Frances M. (Vacanti) Schulte. Loretta was a cook at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Rectory in Orefield for 10 years. From 1980-1990 she worked at Decker's Ceramic Shop in East Texas. Loretta was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown. She was a past secretary for the Ladies Auxiliary at the Knights of Columbus in Allentown. Survivors: Surviving are her sons; Angelo N. III and wife Lori of Culpepper, VA, Vincent E. and wife Pamela of Browns Mills, NJ, Thomas J. and wife Phyllis of Burlison, TN, and Stephen A. A daughter Patricia wife of James Fagan of Slatington. Sister Mary Brickner of Norfolk, VA. Loretta has thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings; Edward, Vincent, Charles, David, Caroline Chappell, Genevieve Kern, Anna Werkheiser, and Helen Schulte. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave., Allentown, and on Wednesday from 10:00-10:50 a.m. in the church vestibule. Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Loretta's name to the , or the Breast Cancer both c/o the funeral home.
