Milton Anchorstar, 84, of Pottsville left his earthly life on Thursday at his home with his family by his side. Born April 29, 1929 he was the son of the late G. Milton and Edna Anchorstar. In addition to his parents Milton is predeceased by a brother G. Frederick Anchorstar along with a daughter Amy Mae Anchorstar who passed away in 1977. Survivors: Milton is survived by his wife Phyllis; along with their three sons, Mark of Port Carbon, Kurt husband to Kathryn, Coplay, and Eric husband to Deidre, Pottsville. He is also survived by a sister, Margaret Keeve of Liberty Lake, WA; as well as his grandchildren, Aden, Wesley, Jacob, Didrik, Justin, and Samantha. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Services: A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grabowski Funeral Home with family and friends welcome from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will take place on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Miltons name to the Simon Kramer Cancer Institute, 15 Alliance Street, New Philadelphia, PA 17959 or United Presbyterian Church 214 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
