Norman R. Stephens
Norman R. Stephens, 66, of New Tripoli, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Deborah E. (Jones) Stephens. The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary last May 6. Born in Allentown, June 9, 1946, Norman was the son of the late Norman C. and Jane E. (Williams) Stephens. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Norman was employed as a forklift operator at Americold Logistics in Fogelsville before retiring in 2006. Prior to that, he worked at the former Western Union, in Allentown as a technician. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Deborah; children, Michael R. Stephens and his wife, Ann, Amanda C. Huber and her husband Wade, both of New Tripoli; sister, Deanna K. Stephens of Brookhaven; grandson, Chase W. Huber; beloved pups, Annie and Lola. Service: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
