Rudolph Traupman Obituary
Rudolph F. Traupman
Rudolph F. Traupman, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Hospice House of St. Lukes in Lower Saucon Twp. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Rudolph R. and Magdaline (Wagner) Traupman. He was the loving husband of the late Edna C. (Halbreiner) Traupman. They were married 66 years before her passing in 2012. Rudolph owned and operated J-Rand Personnel in Bethlehem for 35 years. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre where he was involved with D-Day and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Dale Traupman and his wife, Georgia, of Lehighton, Jeffrey Traupman and his wife, Barbara, of Carmel, IN; his brother, John Traupman of Allentown; his four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, with a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
