William Gasper Obituary
William M. Gasper, Sr.
William (Wilbur) M. Gasper, Sr., 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. He was a butcher, he owned and operated Gaspers Meat Market in Coplay for 32 years. He proudly served in the US Army 21st Infantry during WWII and received the Victory medal and the Army of Occupation medal. He took great pride in his cars. He knew a lot of people and was friends with many. He had provided very well for his family as he worked very hard and savedat an early age. Survivors: Daughter, Laurie Ann with whom he resided, Kimberly Ann Wertman wife of Jeffrey of Walnutport; and two grandchildren; brother, Joseph of Bethlehem; and sister, Marie of Bath. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank S. Gasper and Theresa Kornfiend Gasper; and six siblings. Services: Military memorial services at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at Boyko Funeral Home, Lehigh Street.
