William M. Najpauer
William M. Najpauer, 82, of Lehigh Street, Hokendauqua, Whitehall Twp., died on Monday morning, November 4, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Dorothy (Schloffer) Najpauer since February 7, 1959. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Michael P. and Julia (Farkas) Najpauer. William worked as an inspector for Azar Iron Works, Bath, for several years, retiring In 1994. Previously, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Fabricators. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Coplay. William was a 1949 graduate of the Northampton Area Senior High School. A US Army veteran of Korea, he served in Europe, and achieved rank of Cpl. He was a life member and former dues secretary of Lappawinzo Fish and Game Protective Assn., Allen Twp., member of Northampton Llederkranz, and the American Legion Hokendauqua Post. William enjoyed hunting, polka music, bowling, and watching a good western. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Carol A., wife of Mark W. Loy of Bernville, Berks County, Sharon A., wife of Timothy J. Groller of Hokendauqua; son, William S. and wife, Jane, of Northampton; five grandchildren, Kyle, Mathew, Stephen, Alyssa, and Jessica; sister, Marle Sisko of Cementon; brother, John and wife, Joan, of Northampton. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Thursday, St. Peters Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th Street, Coplay, PA 18037. Call 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, in church.
