Patricia Ann Leigh McIntyre, 73, of Midland, TX, passed away on July 21, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. A private viewing for the family will be held at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to a reception to be held on July 24, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Jennifer and Cory Hall with Chaplain Bill Billett, officiating. Pat was born March 17, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York to Frederic and Harriette Harrison. She graduated from East Islip High School in New York. She resided in Paris, Texas for over 25 years where she helped run the family owned business, Plaza Floor Covering. She moved to Midland, Texas in 2001. She worked as a childcare provider at Holy Trinity Mother's Day Out and was known to many in Midland as "Nana" because of her love for children. She spent most of her time with her grandchildren and enjoyed taking vacations with them. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by many. Patricia is survived by daughter Patti Clifton and husband Chris of Minneapolis, MN; daughter Laurie McIntyre of Minneapolis, MN; son Kevin McIntyre of Upland, CA; daughter Jennifer Hall and husband Cory of Midland, TX; sister, Harriette Rozelle of Oneonta, NY, Lorraine Morris of Paris, TX; brother, Roger Guido of Selden, LI, NY; and sister, Judy Marando of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Sydney, Bailey, and Drake Clifton of Minneapolis, MN and Reese, Kendall, and Jake Hall of Midland, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Brown. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made, in memory of Pat McIntyre, to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center P.O. Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486.
