TSgt. Francis Anthony Keller, USAF (Ret.)
May 18, 1917 - July 22, 2014
Warner Robins, GA- Francis Anthony Keller, 97, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
Francis was born on May 18, 1917 in Seat Pleasant, Maryland and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A proud veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force, he served during World War II and the Korean War, before retiring from military service. Francis continued his Civil Service for an additional twenty years retiring at Robins Air Force Base. He enjoyed baseball, gardening, fishing, music and being a long time member of the Knights of Columbus.
His beloved wife of fifty-three years, Norma Buell Keller; parents, George and Katherine Keller; and sisters, Theresa and Agnes Keller, all preceded him in death.
Francis' memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Paul A. Keller and his wife Carla J Keller of Fountain Hills, Arizona and his cherished daughter Mary E. Keller Smith and her husband Troy Edward Smith of Warner Robins, Georgia; and his grandson, Kiel A. Keller of Scottsdale, Arizona. Francis has many nephews and nieces, Joseph Koppers, Anthony Koppers, Vincent Koppers, Stephen Koppers and niece Rosemary Koppers Keech, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Centerville with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be given to Catholic Charities at Sacred Heart Church, 251 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
