Isom "Ike" Evans Frazier
September 28, 1932 - July 17, 2014
Macon, GA- Services for Isom Frazier will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Glorious Hope Baptist Church with burial at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Glorious Hope Baptist Church or Pine Pointe Hospice.
Isom "Ike" Frazier transitioned to be with God on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Isom was born in Macon, Georgia on September 28, 1932 to the parentage of Charlie and Bertha Frazier. He attended Bibb County Public Schools and was a graduate of Ballard-Hudson Sr. High School.
After graduating, he served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Upon completing his service in the U. S. Military, Isom enrolled and graduated from Tuskegee Institute, and in 1974, he received a Master of Arts Degree from Federal City College.
After forty-three years of dedicated service, Isom retired from the Federal Government with the Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Administration in 1988.
Isom leaves to rejoice in his life, his loving and devoted wife, Florese Fambro-Frazier; three adoring daughters, Jada F. (John) Herring, Andrea F. (E. Dewey) Smith, and Kennia Hill; six grandchildren;
