Lenton Ashley
Macon, GA- Funeral services for Lenton Ashley will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Old Marion Baptist church. Reverend Wade Stephens will officiate. Interment services will follow in Ashley cemetery. A Macon native and a longtime resident of Twiggs County, Mr. Ashley, 65, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born to the parentage of the late Janice Annette Jordan.
Mr. Ashley was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School and also attended Macon Technical School. He served with honor and distinction in the United States Navy. He was employed with Robins Air Force Base as an Aircraft Engineer. He was a member of Old Marion Baptist Church in Twiggs County.
Survivors include four children, Maurice (LaTonya) Ashley, RhoShonda (Tracy) Powell, Sheldon Ashley and Jason (Theresa) Ashley; siblings, Ava Ashley, Mary Stewart, Mildred Scott, Yvonne Flagg and Glynton (Dorothy) Ashley; a loving and devoted friend, Mary Aaron; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
