Macon, GA- Micheline Joubert Kent Picciano, 92, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. A Scripture Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville, GA with Father Michael Kavanaugh officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:30 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Picciano was born in Angers, France to the late Maurice and Paule C. Joubert. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Virgil Kent, Anthony M. Picciano and her son, James Dennis Kent. Mrs. Picciano was a Funeral Director for the family business Kent's Funeral Home in Wrightsville, Georgia and was a practical nurse at the VA Hospital in Dublin, Georgia and a nursing home in Panama City, Florida. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wrightsville, and St. Dominic's Parish in Panama City, Florida. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele Kent (Thomas) Story of Juliette, grandchildren, Alan B. Cortes, Jr. of Macon, Amy Cortes Gilpin of Macon, James Dennis Kent of Milledgeville, great grandchildren, Abriana and Tyler Cortes and Cason Gilpin and McKinzley Kent, cousin, Jerome Cerisier of France and several nieces and nephews in France.
