LOUDONVILLE: Charles E. "Chuck" Dennis, 59, of rural Loudonville, died Thursday evening, May 17, 2012 in The Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness. Chuck was born May 8, 1953 in Ashland, the son of Alfred and Marie (Moore) Dennis. He was a 1971 graduate of Loudonville High School and attended the Ohio State University. He was a retired 30-plus year employee of Mansfield Plumbing Products and was currently employed with Truax Printing of Ashland. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Loudonville and was an avid Loudonville Redbird, Ohio State Buckeye, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns fan. He was a Loudonville Youth Baseball umpire for several years.
He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Marie Dennis of rural Loudonville; 2 sisters, Connie Dennis and Cathy Dennis, both of Hilliard; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Deb Dennis of rural Loudonville, and Mike and Denise Dennis of Carey; 3 nieces, Aysha, Laura and Megan Dennis, 2 nephews, Scott and Michael Dennis; and 3 great nephews, Landon, Braylen and Keegan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Dennis, March 8, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00am in Zion Lutheran Church, Loudonville with Rev. Scott Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call Monday, May 21 from 2-4 and 6-8pm in BYERLY-LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE.
