James P. Morr

MANSFIELD: James P. Morr, 76, of Mansfield passed away at home, Thursday January 23, 2014 following a brief illness.

The son of Glen and Edna (Phillips) Morr, Jim was born in Barberton on October 1, 1937, and grew up in Mansfield.

While in Fort Worth, Texas he graduated from high school. Jim served in the Navy where he studied aviation. He was honorably discharged in 1959.

Jim enjoyed woodworking and hand crafted furniture. Expressing a creative side, he also made custom jewelry and crafts, all of which were given to family and friends. Gifted with an engineer's mind, Jim was quite the problem solver. He also built custom, single seat experimental planes.
