Jerry Hulon Clemons

MANSFIELD: Jerry Hulon Clemons, 68, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, at Cleveland Clinic after an extended illness.

Jerry was born November 2, 1945 in Hillsboro Georgia, the son of, Velma L Clements and the late Scott Clements. He served in the US Army and a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from General Motors after 27 years of service.

Jerry enjoyed life to its fullest an avid sport fan and loved to laugh.

Jerry leaves to cherish in his memory his wife of twenty year of marriage, Zola M. Clemons, of Mansfield; his mother, Velma Clements, of Mansfield, Ohio; two sons, Tywon Clemons and Tyrain Clemons, both of Mansfield; two stepsons, Otis (Sonya) Brooks Jr. and Calvin Brooks, both of Columbus; a brother, Larry Clemons, of Mansfield; three sisters, Barbara Henderson, of San Diego, California, Bonnie (John) Young, of Orlando Florida, and Clarissa Clemons, of Oak Park, Michigan; special cousins, Jesse Tufts, Elder Ronnie Jester and Duke Tufts, all of Mansfield; special friends, Charles Bradley, Sam Fuller, Paul Mack, Jesse Powell, Raspberry, Bubba, Demar Miner, LeRoy Reed, John Holmes and Keno Cobb, all the Mansfield; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Scott Clements; son, Eric Fuller; two uncles, Ben and Ruben; an aunt, Emma Tufts.

The Memorial Services will be held June 16, 2014, at 11 AM, at Small's Funeral Services, 326 Park Ave. W., with Elder Ronald Jester as the eulogist. The Joint Veteran Burial Squad will conduct military honors prior to the Memorial services.

The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the arrangements.
