SHELBY: Timothy David Cline, age 23, resident of Columbus and former Shelby resident died early Friday morning, September 20, 2013 in Grant Medical Center following injuries sustained in a one car motor vehicle accident.

Born April 27, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio he had been a Shelby resident before moving to Columbus in 2009. A 2008 graduate of Shelby High School, he attended Toledo University and was currently attending The Ohio State University. Tim was the assistant store manager at Cheryl's Cookies in Worthington and a former employee with Chase Bank and Fifth Third Bank in Columbus. He attended the First Christian Church in Shelby and the Vineyard Church in Columbus.

An avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, he also was a Blue Jacket and WWE Wrestling fan. Tim loved music and enjoyed writing music and short stories, traveling, camping and cooking. Tim was full of life, wonderful with children and will be remembered for his loving, caring nature and his great voice impersonations. He and his brother, Adam, had a special relationship and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Brent Cline of Columbus, Trisene (Aaron) Barker of Shelby; his brother, Adam Cline of Shelby; his grandmother, Bonnie Cline of Shelby; aunts and uncles, Cindy Cline of Shelby; Valerie (Roy) Watrous of Shelby, Peggy (Tim) Klinetop of Bellville, Carol (Daniel) Shears of Mansfield, and Larry Merwine of Mansfield; cousins, Jeff Friebel, Angel and Scott Watrous, Eva Hunt, Andrew and Josh Merwine; and many loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Cline and Clarence Merwine; grandmother, Shirley Paden; and cousin, Isaiah Merwine.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby with Reverend Brad McBee officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Tim's close relationship with his brother has inspired his family to have memorial expressions in his memory be made to Adam's college fund in care of the Cline family, 51 Broadway, Shelby, OH 44875.
