MANSFIELD: William Michael Dulin Sr., 60, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness.
William was born March 6, 1953, in Evansville, IN, to the late Isaiah L. Dulin and Leavie D. Shackleford. He made Mansfield his home.
He graduated from high school in Detroit, MI, and worked at AK Steel. He loved singing, football, basketball and volleyball. William served in the United State Navy for four years. His greatest enjoyment was being around family.
William leaves to cherish in his memory his wife, Sherri Lee Belmer-Dulin, of Mansfield; a son, William Michael Dulin Jr., of Columbus; four sisters, Joan McNeil and Patricia (Ronald) Banks, both of Mansfield, Sandra (Willie) Birmingham, of West Bloom, MI, and Shirley (Mike) Jones, of Cleveland; a brother, Isaiah (Pete) Dulin, of Mansfield; step-mother, Valerie Dulin; in-laws, Clifford (Mary) Belmer, of Mansfield; brothers-in-law, Clifford (Candice) Belmer Jr., of Columbus, Erick (Deliah) Belmer, of Bellville; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Mark) Calloway of Mansfield, Mary Dulin, Queen Dulin, Martha Dulin and Maxine Parks: a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alice Dulin-Williams; five brothers, Oliver, Herbert, Edd, James and Robert; niece, Jayla Banks.
The services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at 11 a.m., with one hour prior calling at Shiloh Full Gospel Baptist Church, 130 East Second St., with Bishop William Morris Jr. officiating. The burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery with military honors.
The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the arrangements.
