John (Jack) Camiccia Obituary
John (Jack) Camiccia November 24, 1929 - August 25, 2014 Jack Camiccia passed away very suddenly on Monday, August 25th with family members at his side. He worked until the day before at his favorite place, the Marin Rod and Gun Club, where Jack received great pleasure working and volunteering. Jack served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He spent his time among family and friends, working, fishing, hunting, cooking and enjoying life. His working life included manager at United Markets, working for Shillings Spice and California Cheese. Jack also owned Gold Coin Realty in Novato. After retirement, he delivered the SF Chronicle for many years. Jack lived at various locations in Marin County, most recently several years in Novato. He was a long-time member of the MRGC, the Fairfax Parlor #307 of Native Sons of the Golden West and I.D.E.S.I of Novato. Jack, the third son of Angelo and Mamie Camiccia, was born in San Francisco and raised in Fairfax and San Anselmo. He is survived by his brother Stan (Jean) Camiccia, his nieces and nephews Sue Ecke (daughters Jessica Ecke-Stockness and Lesley Ecke), Christina Rasonsky (daughters Jody Hatch and Lydia Palacios, sons Tony and Paul Rasonsky), Sandra Camiccia, (daughter Brianna Gallardo), Gianetta Cosbie, Giulietta Camden (daughters Daniela and Shannon), Anthony Camiccia (daughter Gabriella and son Anthony), Stanley Camiccia (daughter Tessa and sons Nick, Vince and Lucas). Also by his sister-in-law Marti Camiccia and his partner Dianne Wright. Jack is also survived by daughter Debbie Nauman, grandson Erik Nauman, great granddaughter Maddie Nauman, grandson Andy Nauman, granddaughter-in-law Maria Nauman, great granddaughter Brooklyn Nauman, great grandson Anderson Nauman, granddaughter Sarah Davis, grandson-in-law Andy Davis, great grandson Townes Davis, granddaughter Rachael Nauman, grandson-in-law Jonathan Young, daughter Nancy Sorich, daughter-in-law Kathy Anselmo, daughter Nikki Kirwan, son-in-law Jim Kirwan, granddaughter Nicole Keefe, grandson-in-law John Keefe, great grandson Logan Keefe, great grandson Wyatt Keefe, granddaughter Megan Spaulding, grandson-in-law John Spaulding and great granddaughter Lilyn Spaulding. Jack is predeceased by his loving wife Helen, his daughter Kim Camiccia and his brothers Walter and Robert Camiccia. There will be a Celebration of Life for Jack on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Marin Rod and Gun Club starting at 1:00 pm. Please come share your memories of Jack with his family and friends.
