Dye, Harold F.

Harold F. Dye, 67, Pittsville, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Bethel Center, Arpin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pittsville, with Rev. T.J. Schneider officiating. Burial will take place in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville. The visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville and on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Harold was born on January 5, 1947 in Pittsville, the son of William and Rosina (Gessert) Dye and was a graduate of Pittsville High School. After his education he was employed at Weyerhaeuser Company, Marshfield and then Marshfield Homes. He then entered the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he was employed at Felker Brothers Manufacturing, Marshfield, until he began farming in the Town of Wood. While farming he also was an electrician, operating Dye's Electric. He later moved to DeForest, WI where he worked as an electrician until his retirement.

He is survived by a brother, Ronald (Shirley) Dye and a sister, Audrey Dye, all of Arpin. He is further survived by nephews, Rick and Jon Dye and a niece, Laurie Dye.

He was predeceased by his parents.
