Carter, Sandra M.

Sandra M. Carter, 71 of rural Pittsville died peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at her home with her family. She was under the Ministry Home Hospice Care Program.

Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Veedum Moravian Church in Pittsville with Pastor Wanda Veldman officiating.

Visitations will be from 11am Saturday at the church until time of services.

Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home of Pittsville is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Sandy was born on March 11, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids to Allen and Mabel (Nordman) Yetter. She graduated from Pittsville High School in 1961.

She was united in marriage to Harlan D. Carter on December 16, 1967 in Belvedere, IL. She and Harlan were cross county truckers. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, floral gardens, she had many bird feeders and enjoyed working in her yard. She loved visiting with family and friends at all their gatherings. Sandy was a member of Veedum Moravian Church and Pittsville VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Harlan, sons, Dan Cline of Pittsville, Steven Cline of Eddyville, KY and Tim (Katlyn) Van Driest of Marengo, IL; 1 granddaughter Cassandra Laughlin of Rock Springs, WY and her two children Olivia and Riggs. She is further survived by three brothers, Allen (Linda) Yetter, Jr. of Marshfield, Peter (Rene) Yetter of Pittsville and Paul Yetter of Pittsville, one sister Pamela (Rodney) Pralle of Pittsville; her dog "Babe".

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter. Denise Carter and a brother Rodney Yetter.
