Augrelio "George" Barajas passed away Thursday, April 17 surrounded by his family. George was born on July 27, 1928 in Abilene, KS. He joined the Marines in 1946 and was a WWII and Korean War Veteran.

He worked for Boeing in Witchita, KS where he met his loving wife Enid. He retired from Boeing then later retired from Proctor and Gamble. He was a devoted member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and served as President of St. Jude School Parent Club.
George was an avid gardener and Raiders fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
George is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Enid Barajas, his son, Larry Campbell.
He is survived by his brother, Rudy; sisters: Pat Jensen and Mary Anderson; Seven children: Alberta Diaz of Lakeport, Julie Durbin (Bob) of Pennsylvania, Anita Phillips (Richard) of Atwater, Victor Barajas of Redlands, Janet Webb (Gary) of New Mexico, Pat Barajas (Claire) of Atwater, and Marilyn Molina (John) of Atwater; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
A recitation of the Rosary following a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 330 Franci Street in Livingston. The burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery in Winton. Military Honors will be conducted by the Merced County VFW Honor Guards.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Livingston.
