Bob M. Robbins was born August 5, 1924 in Seattle, WA to Eva and Ernest Robbins. He was called home to the Lord on June 15, 2013. He was preceded in death by both his parents and his loving wife of 44 years Marguerite. Bob leaves behind his children Mary and Michael, his grandchildren Alisa, Becky, Amber and Jack, and his great grandchildren Jada, Adrian and Rebecca and his beloved dog Scottie. Bob graduated from Ballard High, an AC degree in machine design drafting and got his BS management from University of San Francisco. He retired from Lockheed Missiles & Space Corp. in 1989 as the title of lead staff engineer. Some of Bob's most proud accomplishments were being a boy scout and when he served in the U.S. Army. Enlisted in 1943, he spent time overseas in the European Theater war including the Normandy invasion, Battle of the Bulge, Liberation of Paris. Bob was appointed in 2011 with a "Chevalier" of the Legion of Honor, a knight also awarded by the French. Bob was a member of many organizations including Amity #23, Scottish Rites, San Francisco Asiya Shrine Temple, San Jose Shrine Club, and Los Gatos Shrine. He spent many of his days volunteering as a crossing guard, the Los Gatos PD, and the church ministry. Bob was an amazingly loving man and will be missed by all that knew him. He made his neighbors and friends feel like family. He was kind hearted and loved his family dearly. Although he is no longer with us in physical form, he will always be with us in spirit. Until we met again…
